Wanting a larger format than my 9 x 12 block, I grabbed an old canvas, handed down to me from my late Aunt Edna. I think it had been painted, then reprimed on top of the old painting. But it was not sized to accept watercolors! As I worked, I became intrigued with the textures appearing as the paint adhered more in some places than others. This piece is sold.
