This painting was accepted into the 2022 juried exhibit of the Minnesota Watercolor Society. When we visited our son and his wife and their brand new baby girl at Christmastime in 2021, we were blessed with a heavy snow the day after Christmas. The towering trees in their Pacific Northwest neighborhood were draped in the glorious white snow, poised against the glowing light of the late afternoon sun.
