This piece has been a whole lifetime coming . . . It's my grandpa, Jesse Ellenberger, conducting a farm sale years ago in Indiana. He and his brother Dale started Ellenberger Bros Auctioneers and Real Estate, a business my Uncle Kenny's family operate in my home town to this day. I was delighted to finally complete this, and then to win an award for it from the Minnesota Watercolor Society in their 2021 fall show.
