I don’t usually paint wet-into-wet, but decided to try it here, masking the birches so I could add their details after the softer background was dry. I do like the way the diffuse background turned out - a bit like a misty spring morning, and the strong light on the birches with their crisp presence makes them feel close up. Available - $90 unframed.
