We were in Duluth, visiting friends. Our drive up the North Shore was a bit disappointing due to the rain that kept us from hiking. It was almost dusk when we returned to Duluth, and the sun broke out over Lake Superior in the most amazing array of light and color! I can almost feel the cool breeze when I look at this. Along the North Shore was awarded an Honorable Mention at the Minnesota Watercolor Society's Fall Exhibition at White Bear Center for the Arts last year. This piece is SOLD - so no longer available.
